ABOUT US

Royal LePage Riders Club

Always safe, often thrilling, the RLPRC or Royal LePage Riding Club is a community bound together by a love of motorcycling and respect for each other. Inclusive to its very core, members are welcome on anything with two wheels, from Harleys to Hondas. From the beginning, women and men have ridden shoulder to shoulder. Camaraderie is built on the same solid foundation and endearing values as the great Royal LePage company, including the spirit of giving back.
I have been riding with RLP brothers and sisters since 2002, yet it wasn’t until almost a decade later, at 2013 Headstart conference in Kamloops, B.C. that the RLPRC was formally convened and we first flew our colours. Calgarian’s John Hripco and Josh Nelson sponsored those first leather vests and patches, and continue to do so to today. For that we are grateful.
The core patch kit includes the main back image of a vintage motorcycle, with rockers above and below proclaiming, ‘Live to Ride,’ and “Proudly Canadian Since 1913.’ The club name is on another patch, a stylized ‘RLPRC’ rectangle, to be worn on the lower back. On one side of the vest or jacket’s front, members wear bars depicting major rides, with city and year.
I created the final front patch as a nod to our shared ambition to raise money for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. It builds on an original Shelter Foundation design created in 2006 by then Creative Director Dave McFarlane, and incorporates a stylized skeleton skull, in keeping with the biker tradition. Remember, we are often good, but when we are not, we are very badass bikers.
Together we will explore beautiful corners of our nation and the world. And yes, quaff a few ales along the way.
